Haleakala Crater
If you're looking for an out of this world experience, check out the lava formations and exotic plant life of this massive seven and a half mile long crater.  Haleakala is the world's largest dormant volcano. At 10,032 feet above sea level, it provides views that are out of this world.  Get up early and see the crater at sunrise.  For the adventurous, you can take a 38 mile bike trip coasting down the volcano ending into he town of Paia.

Lahaiana
Sailors and pirates once caroused in this beautiful seaport in search of wine and women.  Things have tame down quite a bit since then, but there's still a party going on with lots of bars, restaurants, museums and ships. Why not take a surfing lesson with an expert instructor or attend a Luau to experience traditional Hawaii cuisine, dances and music.

Road to Hana
Splash mountain has nothing on this 50 mile long road past waterfalls, rainforests, botanical gardens, streams and the Seven Sacred Pools.  The road ends at "heavenly Hana, where you can explore freshwater caves, as well as beautiful black and white sand beaches.

Q: We’re having a tough time deciding which U.S. National Park to visit this year. Any clues?

A: Yellowstone is great for kids, with all the animals and geysers. Yosemite is good for older kids and adults, who can climb Half Dome and appreciate the waterfalls and wildflowers. For a little more adventure, how about hiking the Appalachian Trail or camping in Maine’s stunningly beautiful Acadia National Park?

Q: We’re planning a big family reunion getaway. Do you have any suggestions?

A: We keep getting rave reviews from large reunion groups that cruise together.
